The Baffin IceBear is the only Polyurethane boot of its kind, specifically designed for the North American Climate. The durable polyurethane (PU) upper is more caustic and abrasion resistant than rubber or PVC. The upper compound is injected with air providing a ½” protection from cold and inclement weather. A light weight, cushioned polyurethane (PU) midsole provides fatigue reduction while an acid and oil resistant Oarprene rubber outsole supplies exceptional traction in cold and aggressive conditions. This boot does not have a liner and can be worn year round. The IceBear is comfort rated up to -58F.

The sole itself is a marvel of modern engineering because it is made up of several advanced thermo-set polymers that are combined together to achieve the right balance of warmth, protection, low weight and grip. This in combination with a Polymech foam removable lining system and innovative Timberwolf leather and Diamond-Lite insulated nylon uppers, creates a relentless focus on perfect boots and winter shoes.
